What the type sheet does, and what I propose instead
Left is design/tokens.md as approved 2026-07-09, rendered honestly. Right is the proposal. Nothing here is applied — the sheet says changes need your round, not a commit. Evidence for every change is the ManyChat walk already in the repo (design/research/manychat-walk/), which is the product you picked as the reference.
The finding. Every flat thing you rejected on the Dashboard was the sheet complying, not me improvising. The sheet mandates 11px uppercase small-caps for field labels, table headers, chips, pills and stat labels, and it caps the type scale at 24px. That is five of the six levels of a screen sitting between 11px and 15px.

Why it reads flat: the title is 24/650 and the line under it is 13/400. One step. The heading has to carry the whole page and it is barely louder than a table cell.

Change: title to 30/700, and the line under it becomes a short quiet fact, not a sentence carrying four clauses. ManyChat's home runs a large heading over a thin grey meta line (01-home-dashboard.jpg). The clauses I stuffed in there belong on the things they describe.

Sheet line 122: "Table: header row of small-caps labels". Line 68: 11px small-caps is the label size for field labels, pills, chips and stat labels. So the whole screen shouts in 11px capitals.

Change: section heading to 18/650, column headers to 12/500 sentence case, row name up to 15/600. ManyChat's table headers read Name / Runs / CTR in sentence-case grey (02-automation-list-folders.jpg). No capitals anywhere in that product except a state pill.
3 · The stat tile

Sheet line 123: "number 24px/650, small-caps label under it". The label competes with the figure because capitals are visually loud, and you read the number before you know what it counts.
Proposed
Change: label above the figure, 13/500 sentence case; figure to 30/700. You read what it is, then how much. Straight from 04-flow-published-metrics-view.jpg — Sends / Unique Contacts / Emails / Phones, label over figure, no capitals.

Two separate faults. The dot is mine — nothing in the sheet asks for it, and it carries no information the word does not already carry. The tint is the sheet, and at 11px on a soft fill nothing reads as urgent, so six pills all shout equally and therefore none of them shout.

WhatsApp is silent — Meta disabled the number, so alerts are muted.
Change: dots are deleted outright. A pill earns its place only when a state must be seen from across the room, and then it is solid, one per row at most. Everything else becomes a sentence with the status word coloured in place. ManyChat runs exactly two pills in the whole product, LIVE and DRAFT, both solid.

What this does not touch. Every colour, the spacing grid, radii, the 4/8 rhythm, contrast floors, channel chip colours, the wordmark rule, tabular numerals. Only type sizing, weight, casing, and the pill are in question. One weight is added — 700, for page titles and hero figures. One size is added — 30px.
